Acoustic foam can only absorb high frequencies as it is not dense and thick enough to absorb the energy of mid-range and low frequencies. By installing only acoustic foam, you will create problems with standing waves and resonances in your room.
Studio Solution acoustic panels absorb frequencies as low as 60 Hz. Their absorption is more uniform and will truly improve the sound in your room.
We offer three types of attachments: a sawtooth hanger similar to what is found on a frame, Z-clips that allow for installation on both walls and ceilings, and finally, a hook and steel cable kit that allows the panel to be suspended from the ceiling at the desired height.
The maximum width of the acoustic panels is 48″ and the height is 96″. The area cannot exceed 16 square feet. The maximum thickness is 6″.
